The Hernando Firefighters Benevolent Relief Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting local firefighters and their families during times of illness, injury, or personal hardship.
Our mission is funded through generous community donations and annual events like our Giving Back with Birdies golf tournament, along with a variety of other charitable fundraisers throughout the year.
How We Help
Funds raised go directly toward:
- Assisting sick or injured firefighters and their families
- Supporting local nonprofit and community events
- Hosting our annual Shopping with a Hero holiday program, which brings joy to underprivileged children by giving them a memorable holiday through donations of gifts and necessities that our firefighters shop for
