My name is Jason Haas, and I have the privilege of serving as the President of Local 3760. I have been with HCFR for over 17 years, and I've been an elected member of the Executive Board for 15 of those years. I have held every position within the Local with the exception of Secretary.
For HCFR, I currently serve as the Captain on Truck 14, B-Shift. I am also a member of the ARFF team, and the Technical Rescue Team. I have come up through the ranks serving as a firefighter / paramedic, Driver/Engineer, Captain, and Ride-Up Battalion Chief.
I have been a resident of Hernando County since I was three years old, and reside here in Spring Hill with my wife and son. I love this community and am proud to be able to serve in the area that I grew up!

With two decades of dedicated service at Hernando County Fire Rescue, Captain Nick Babino has built a reputation for leadership, commitment, and community support. Having served at Station 12 throughout his career, Nick brings extensive experience and expertise to his role, ensuring the safety and well-being of both his team and the residents he serves.
In addition to his operational duties, Nick has been actively involved in union business since 2010, advocating for the rights and interests of his fellow firefighters. His passion for service extends beyond the fireground, as he works tirelessly to improve the department and the firefighter community as a whole.
A seasoned professional, Nick is driven by a strong sense of duty, teamwork, and a deep commitment to protecting his community.

My name is Joe Iarussi, and I currently serve as the Treasurer of Local 3760. I have been with HCFR for 16 years. I am the Station 3, A shift Driver Engineer. I have been a member of the HAZMAT, Drone and Marine Teams. In 2020, I retired, after 28 years, from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman. My wife, Trisha, is the Principal at Shady Hills Elementary School, and My daughter is a full time college student.

My name is Ben Morse, and I currently serve as the Secretary for Local 3760. I began serving on the eboard as the B Shift Steward in 2020, a position I held until 2024, when I transitioned into the role of Secretary.
I was hired in November 2013 as a Firefighter EMT and was initially assigned to Station 24B. In 2016, I obtained my Paramedic certification. In February 2021, I was promoted to Lieutenant, where I split my duties between Stations 10 and 4. In October 2021, I transferred to the role of Driver Engineer at Station 11, where I served until I was promoted to Captain in June 2024. I am currently assigned to Station 12C.
I reside in Pasco County with my wife and two children.
